Person seriously injured in car crash on the Northway in Clifton Park, police say

New York State Police say one person is seriously injured after a two-car crash on I-87 Northway in Clifton Park on Friday afternoon.

The crash happened around 4:41 p.m.

Police say one vehicle had overturned in the median of the highway, and the driver had to be extricated from the vehicle.

The driver’s injuries are serious, but are not believed to be life-threatening, with no other injuries reported at the scene, said State Police.
