Peru citizen arrested in Waterford sentenced for fake IDs

A Peruvian national will be deported after pleading guilty to possessing a fraudulent visa and Social Security card.

Andre Paolo Juarez-Olivia, 27, admitted in U.S. District Court that he entered the United States illegally. Juarez-Olivia was arrested in Waterford on June 4, 2023, after police saw him driving a vehicle with a fake license plate, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

Juarez-Olivia was sentenced to the 5 months he already has served in jail.
