Pitbull & T-Pain take the stage at SPAC

Pitbull's Party After Dark tour made a stop at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center Sunday night.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (WNYT) – Pitbull’s Party After Dark tour made a stop at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center Sunday night.

Around 20,000 people filled the stands at the SPAC. Some drove for more than four hours to watch Pitbull and told NewsChannel 13 that they got their tickets months ago.

Pitbull wasn’t the only artist who performed Sunday as T–Pain took the stage at the concert too.

“I bought tickets, like, literally two hours ago. Like, impulsively, I got like a great deal on them, but I’m so excited. Mostly excited however, for T-Pain. Underrated,” concertgoers said.

People lined up hours before the concert, tailgating in the parking lots of the SPAC.

“This is my second time seeing him. I love him so much. My favorite artist. That’s my king. I have my Mrs. 305 bracelet because we’re married,” said fans.

Gates opened after 6 p.m. Sunday night with T–Pain taking the stage around 8 p.m.

Pitbull then took the stage around 9:30 p.m. following a power issue inside the venue during which crews had to switch to a generator.
