The dean of Pittsfield High School is charged with conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
Lavante Wiggins, 30, was arrested on Wednesday, along with Theodore “Monty” Warren, 42, also of Pittsfield.
Wiggins organized cocaine distribution in Pittsfield, and Warren was a runner for him, investigators said.
One customer racked up more than $34,000 in debt, investigators said.
Both men appeared in federal court in Springfield and were released on conditions.
If convicted, they each face up to 20 years in prison, a $1 million fine and a lifetime of supervised release.
