Pittsfield man accused of robbing theater
Pittsfield man accused of robbing theater
A Pittsfield man is accused of robbing a movie theater.
Kyle Richard Wilbur, 32, entered the Beacon Cinema at 57 North St. around 10:15 Friday evening, said police, claimed he had a weapon, and demanded money from a staff member.
Wilbur got away with less than $200, according to NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle. Witnesses were able to give an accurate description to police, and they found Wilbur at the corner of Francis Avenue and Bradford Street a short time later. He did not have a weapon with him, police said.
Wilbur was arraigned on armed robbery in Pittsfield District Court.
