Pittsfield man charged in stabbing

A Pittsfield man has been arrested in a stabbing.
Pittsfield Police responded to a multi-family residence on Woodlawn Avenue just before 3 a.m. Officers found a 60-year-old man who had at least one stab wound. He was taken to Berkshire Medical Center with a serious injury. He is expected to survive.
Jason Wright, 40, was charged with armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery on a person aged 60 or over. Police believe Wright and the victim knew each other.
