Pittsfield Police have charged several juveniles in connection with threats to schools.
Police said threatening posts were shared on various social media platforms, including Snapchat, TikTok and Discord.
During the investigation, Pittsfield Police searched residences and seized personal electronic devices. Other juveniles are expected to be charged as the investigation progresses, according to police.
The suspects’ names are not being released because of their ages.
Police said other school districts within Berkshire County and beyond have been investigating similar incidents.
