A Pittsfield woman has died in a crash between a motorcycle and an SUV.
It happened in the town of Charlemont on Sunday evening, NewsChannel 13’s news partners at The Berkshire Eagle reported.
Sheila Rombeiro, 72, was a passenger on a motorcycle with her husband driving, when the crash happened on Route 2 near Avery Brook Road.
Mrs. Rombeiro was taken to Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Springfield where she later died.
Her husband, Robert Rombeiro, and the 69-year-old driver of the SUV were also injured and taken to the hospital.
The crash is still under investigation.
