The man accused of shooting another man in a Walmart parking lot has rejected a plea deal for 11 to 14 years in state prison, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Post-Star reported.

Adrian Simental, 34, is accused of engaging in an encounter with Brendan Grant last November, near the Northway Plaza in Queensbury.

It happened after an alleged road rage incident, polices said.

Simental then followed Grant’s vehicle into the Walmart parking lot, where a confrontation ensued, police said.

The trial is scheduled to begin May 22.
