Police: 25-year-old arrested for criminal trespass, contempt
Mechanicville Police say they arrested Celzon A. Venson, 25, of Mechanicville for criminal trespass, among other charges on October 2.
Police say they observed a male entering an apartment throguh a window in Mechanicville, which the resident who was not home at the time, had an active order of protection against Venson.
Authorities say Venson attempted to flee the scene as officers responded and investigated, but he was quickly apprehended and taken into custody.
Venson was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, second-degree criminal trespass, and aggravated family offense.
He was arraigned in Mechanicville City Court and remanded to the custody of Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office pending further court action.
