Police: Albany man drove drunk with children in vehicle in Schenectady

An Albany man is accused of driving drunk with two children in the vehicle.

Schenectady Police stopped a vehicle on March 30 around 6:30 p.m. in the area of State Street and Catherine Street. Police said the driver, 31-year-old Jonathan G. Marquez, was intoxicated.

The children were not related to Marquez, police said.

Marquez was charged with two counts of aggravated felony DWI, one count of DWI, one count of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, criminal tampering and traffic citations.
