Police: Albany man hit, robbed person

An Albany man is accused of striking a person and forcing him to give him money.

Kenneth A. Ford, 34, allegedly hit the victim while in a moving vehicle, causing severe injuries, State Police said. He then is accused of forcing the victim to give him cash while in Cohoes.

Ford was charged with robbery, burglary, assault and reckless endangerment. He was transported to Albany County Jail pending arraignment.
