Police: Averill Park woman was over 3x too drunk to drive
An Averill Park woman is accused of driving while over three times the legal limit for intoxication.
State Police responded to the area of Edgewood Drive in Averill Park just before 3 p.m. on July 1 for a report of an unresponsive driver.
Troopers found the driver, Lori B. Murray, 45, outside the vehicle.
She was arrested and taken to the State Police station, where she had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.29%. The legal limit is 0.08%.
Murray was charged with DWI. It was upgraded to a felony because has a previous conviction for DWI within the last 10 years.
She was released on an appearance ticket and due in Sand Lake Town Court on July 22.
