Police: Ballston Lake woman was over 4x too drunk to drive

A Ballston Lake woman is accused driving with a blood alcohol level more than four times the legal limit.

State Police responded to a two-car crash on Feb. 11 just after 3 p.m. at the intersection of Schauber Road and Hubbs Road in Clifton Park, NY. One of the drivers, 37-year-old Erika L. Vonie, was charged with driving while intoxicated and traffic violations.

She recorded a 0.34% blood alcohol concentration. The legal limit is 0.08%.

Vonie was released on appearance tickets and is due in Clifton Park Town Court on Feb. 26.

No one was injured.
