Police: Ballston Spa woman stabbed victim repeatedly in stomach

A Ballston Spa woman is accused of stabbing a person in the abdomen.

Catherine A. Christopher, 46, stabbed the victim multiple times during a dispute on Jan. 9 at a home in Malta, State Police said on Monday.

Christopher knew the victim, who was transported to Saratoga Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Christopher was charged with first-degree assault. She was arraigned in Malta Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail.
