Bennington County man accused of assaulting family member
A Bennington County man is accused of assaulting a family member.
Donald Holton, 56, of Whitingham, is accused of striking a person inside a vehicle in Readsboro. It happened around 4:40 p.m. on Saturday, Vermont State Police said.
Holton is charged with aggravated domestic assault. He is also facing a gun charge because he is prohibited from possessing a firearm. He was sent without bail to Marble Valley Correctional Facility and is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday afternoon.
