Police: Bennington man drove drunk, caused two crashes
A Bennington man is accused of driving drunk and causing two crashes.
State Police responded to the area of Flensburg Drive in Pittstown on Nov. 10 at around 3:30 p.m. for a report of a vehicle striking a fence post and leaving the area. The driver, 27-year-old Conrad A. Graham, then allegedly crashed into a utility pole in the area of Melrose Valley Falls Road in Schaghticoke.
Graham was evaluated by EMS and then arrested on DWI and traffic violations. Police found a loaded handgun and high-capacity magazine.
He also was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of certain ammunition feeding devices.
Graham was arraigned in Schaghticoke Town Court and sent to the Rensselaer County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
