Police: Delmar apartment fire was sparked by joint

A man smoking marijuana sparked a Tuesday fire that destroyed two Delmar apartment buildings, police said.
Juan Miranda, 35, is charged with lying to police about it in a written statement.
Miranda ignited lawn debris with the pot, police said, which then spread to two buildings on Equinox Court due to the dry weather.
He’s due back in Bethlehem Town Court on June 20.
