Police: Fort Edward man took money, didn’t complete construction job

A Fort Edward man is accused of not completing a construction job.

Robert J. Sweet Jr. 44, allegedly received more than $1,000 in June to purchase materials and complete work for a Queensbury resident. He did not buy the materials or start the job and did not return the money, State Police said.

Sweet was arrested at a traffic stop last week in Glens Falls. He was charged with grand larceny.
