Police: Fort Edward man tried to rob person in auto parts store parking lot
Police arrested a Fort Edward man for allegedly trying to rob a man in the parking lot of an auto parts store.
Officers responded to O’Reilly Auto Parts at 114 Saratoga Ave. in South Glens Falls Thursday evening for a report of an armed robber.
The victim reported as he left the store, he saw a man with a knife slashing two of his tires. The suspect then started coming toward him with the knife and demanding that he give him everything in his pockets, police said. The victim ran back into the store and called 911.
