Police: Glens Falls man had child pornography

A Glens Falls man is accused of possessing child pornography.

Asher E. Williams, 23, had images consistent with child exploitation, State Police said. The arrest came after an investigation that stemmed from a cyber tip received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Williams was charged with promoting a sexual performance of a child and possessing a sexual performance of a child. He turned himself in to the State Police station in Queensbury.

He was arraigned in Warren County Centralized Arraignment Court and released on his own recognizance.
