Police: Greenfield contractor failed to start work

State Police have arrested a Greenfield contractor for allegedly failing to do a job.

Michael T. Marlett, 21, is charged with a felony count of grand larceny. Marlett is accused of taking $10,000 deposit from a Saratoga County resident last December and not starting the work or returning the money, police said.

Marlett is owner of ATQ Contracting LLC.

He was arraigned in Malta Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
