Police investigating car vs bicycle crash in Moreau

The Saratoga County Sheriffs Office is investigating a crash between a car and bicycle Saturday night.

The crash happened at around 5:27 p.m. at the intersection of Reservoir Road and New York State Route 32 in Moreau, police said.

A 2017 Cadillac XT5  driven by 29-year-old Jordan Sommers of Moreau was traveling north on Route 32 when it struck a bicycle traveling in the same direction ridden by 65-year old Philip Davis of Moreau.

Davis was transported by Moreau EMS to Albany Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and is currently in stable condition, police said.

Sommers was not injured.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
