Police are investigating a dead body found in Altamont.

Officers responded to an address on Main Street. When they arrived, they found a person deceased outside the residence. 

Police believe it is an unattended death and are waiting for the results of an autopsy.

The investigation has been turned over to the Guilderland Police Department.
