Colonie Police investigating shooting that stemmed from Facebook Marketplace sale
Colonie Police are investigating a shooting they said was prompted by a Facebook Marketplace sale.
Officers were called to the area of Frederick Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. They learned two vehicles crashed and a gun was fired from at least one, police said.
Everyone left before police arrived. Officers collected evidence.
Police found one of the vehicles and are interviewing the people involved. The second vehicle was later found abandoned. Investigators are trying to find the people who were inside.
No one was hurt, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
