Police investigating death of an infant in South Glens Falls.

State Police responded to a home at around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday for a report of an unresponsive infant. The infant was transported to Glens Falls Hospital, where life-saving measures were unsuccessful and the infant was declared dead, police said on Friday.

The name of the infant will not be released at this time and the investigation into the cause of the death is uncertain.
