Police: Johnstown man fired pistol during domestic incident
Police have arrested a Johnstown man for allegedly firing a pistol in a person’s direction during a domestic incident.
Luke J. Ahrens Sr., 42, was charged on Sept. 9 with reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a firearm following the incident at about 1:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.
Ahrens was taken into custody by members of the New York State Police Special Operations Response Team and turned over to Fulton County Sheriff’s deputies.
Ahrens was processed and sent to the Fulton County Correctional Facility pending arraignment.
Police expect additional charges in the incident.
