Police keeping extra close watch for distracted drivers

State and local law enforcement are taking part in a statewide distracted driving enforcement campaign this week.
Law enforcement will be stepping up patrols across the state through April 10.
April marks Distracted Driving Awareness Month nationwide.
During this week last year, more than 64,000 vehicle and traffic law violation tickets were given out here in New York.
