Man, 47, dead in Troy stabbing
Troy Police are investigating a deadly stabbing.
Officers responded to 373 3rd St. around 7:45 a.m. Monday morning for a report of an assault. A 47-year-old man had a stab wound, police said.
Emergency personnel began providing lifesaving efforts. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
The suspect left the scene before police arrived.
The stabbing stemmed from a fight, police said. They don’t think there is a threat to the general public.
