Police: Man trespassed at Catskill business, had meth

A 39-year-old Albany County man is facing multiple charges after police said he trespassed on a company’s property and had meth.
State Police responded to Peckham Industries in Catskill on Jan. 20 just after 7:30 a.m. for a report that someone had entered their gated property with a vehicle. The business told police that someone had stolen a key belonging to the company, which was hidden in a box on a metal gate post.
Michael J. Eisgruber, of East Berne, was arrested on a charge of trespassing. When inspecting the vehicle, troopers found a handwritten black-and-white inspection sticker that was obviously forged. There were also stolen license plates on the vehicle, multiple bags of methamphetamine and a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine, police said.
Eisgruber was charged with possession of a forged instrument, criminal possession of stolen property, criminal trespass, criminal possession of a controlled substance, manufacture of drug-related paraphernalia and petit larceny.
Eisgruber was arraigned at Cairo Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
