Police: Man used U-Haul, wheelchair to dump body in Albany

A Troy man is accused of using a U-Haul truck and a wheelchair to dump a body in an Albany neighborhood.

The body was found in front of a home at 199 Colonie Street.

Tavel Harris, 45, was aware of the victim’s grave condition due to a drug overdose, but did not get any help, court documents said.

That decision resulted in her death, investigators said.

Harris is now charged with manslaughter.

Candles now line the sidewalk in front of the home where the body was found.
