Police: Man drove over 100 mph while drunk
Police: Man drove over 100 mph while drunk on the Northway in Lake George.
A Staten Island man is accused of driving over 100 mph on the Northway while drunk.
Ernest R. Castagna, 54, was going 103 mph between Exit 22 and Exit 23 in Lake George early Wednesday morning, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Castagna was intoxicated, according to police. A breath test revealed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.11%, which is over the legal limit of 0.08%.
Castagna was charged with DWI. He was released pending a future appearance in Lake George Town Court.
