Police: New York City man found with illegal gun in Warren County

A man from New York City is facing charges for allegedly bringing a gun to Warren County.
Novashawn Bannister, 28, from Manhattan, was arrested for having a loaded gun with him, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
The gun – a loaded Taurus .380 – was found during a traffic stop on Old Mill Lane in Queensbury, around 5:15 Thursday evening, investigators said.
Novashawn Bannister was arraigned and sent to the Warren County Jail because of his criminal history.
He was arrested for running from police while on parole in 2017.
