Police: Pair tried to steal cart from Washington County Fair

Two men are accused of trying to steal a maintenance cart from the Washington County Fair grounds.

Octavian S. Dudley, 18, of Watervliet, and Tyreem J. Gardner, 20, of Ballston Spa, were stopped by fair employees in the parking lot, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The cart was worth more than $3,000, investigators said. 

Both were charged with grand larceny. They were released and due in Easton Town Court at a later date.
