Police: Pittsfield teen had stolen gun

A 16-year-old from Pittsfield is accused of having a loaded gun that had been reported stolen.
Pittsfield Police officers were patrolling downtown around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, when a juvenile male bumped the shoulder of a plain clothes officer. The juvenile then gestured to his waistband as if he had a firearm. He then walked away with another juvenile.
Officers confronted the pair, who police said refused to comply. After a struggle, police obtained the gun and arrested the juvenile.
The firearm was reported stolen from Brattleboro, Vermont, according to police.
