Police catch woman accused of dragging officer during traffic stop

Police located the car at the Exit 23 McDonald's.
Police have found the woman accused of dragging a police officer after hitting him with her car this afternoon.
Police said the suspect, 34-year-old Theresa Travis, hit the officer with her car at the intersection of Hayes and Geyser Roads and then took off.
The incident happened at around 2:45 p.m. The officer was attempting to reach into the vehicle and the driver took off.
Police said they located the car at the Exit 23 McDonald’s. They saw her on video. She walked away in northerly direction. They knew she had a relative in that area.
Police said the officer who was hit is a sergeant with about 10 years on the job. He is being treated right now and is in stable condition.
