Police: Troy man had child pornography

A Troy man is accusing of having child pornography.

Alexander C. Hope, 24, of Troy, had images consistent with child sexual exploitation, State Police said. Hope’s arrest followed an investigation by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Hope was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child. He was arraigned at Troy City Court and released on his own recognizance.
