A bear that was in a tree in Gloversville has now climbed down.

The bear was on Place Street. It was first spotted just before 2 p.m. in the area of Fox Street, according to Bill Trojan with Fulton County Area News, who sent us some photos.

Police had been trying to figure out how to get it out of the tree.
