Police: Two Vermont women shoplifted from Walmart
Two Vermont women are facing charges for allegedly shoplifting from Walmart.
State Police responded to the Wilton store on Saturday, Dec. 30, for reports of two people stealing items. Tammy L. Kempton, 52, of Bennington, and Renee C. Perras, 52, of Barre, were arrested. They stole over $200 worth of merchandise, said police.
Further investigation determined that Kempton had been banned from all Walmart stores due to a similar incident.

They were issued appearance tickets and are due in Wilton Town Court on Jan. 16.
