Police: Vermont man allegedly sold fentanyl, cocaine
Vermont State Police arrested a Bennington man on Friday for allegedly selling fentanyl and cocaine.
Thomas Mayer, 36, is accused of selling the drugs over a three-month period to police informants, police said.
When he was arrested, he was found to be in violation of the conditions of release on active charges he faces in Bennington including fentanyl trafficking, resisting arrest, cocaine possession, possession of a stimulate or narcotic.
The investigation was conducted by the Vermont Drug Task Force, Bennington Police Department, FBI and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations. The Bennington County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
Mayer is due in Vermont Superior Court in Bennington to answer the charges.
