Poll: Hochul continues wide lead over Republican challenger
A new poll of 1,200 adults finds Gov. Hochul continues to be in a good position to win election to a full-term in November.
The exclusive SurveyUSA poll done for NewsChannel 13 finds Hochul with 55% support, to Republican challenger Lee Zeldin’s 31%.
However, much of that big gap is made up of voters outside of upstate, where Hochul only leads by 8%.
Meantime, Zeldin leads Hochul by 69 points among Republicans statewide and 36 points among Conservatives.
A total of 68% of people said they were “100% certain” or “likely” to vote.
