A new Siena College poll shows more New Yorkers have a favorable opinion of Gov. Kathy Hochul than they did a few months ago. However, the majority still have an unfavorable opinion.

According to that poll, Hochul has a negative favorability rating: 39% of registered voters in New York have a favorable opinion of the governor, while 49% do not.

That’s up from a poll back in October, showing 36% had a favorable opinion, and 51% with an unfavorable one of the governor.

However, the poll shows only 33% of New Yorkers would reelect Hochul, while 57% want someone else.
