Two electronic cigarettes commonly known as vapes were confiscated from a student in Saratoga County.
They were altered, according to Principal Tim Brunson of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School. Brunson sent a letter warning parents of the danger. However, his school was not the one where the vapes were found, he said.
Crystal methylenedioxymethamphetamine were found in one of the devices,
as well as a prescription stimulant whose brand name is Vyvanse.
The school asked parents to speak with their child on the dangers associated with vaping.
