Private funeral remembering Bethlehem woman found after 11 years

People are coming together to remember the life of Amanda King. Her remains were found back in October near Burden Pond in Troy, after she went missing 11 years ago. Her remains were positively identified in November.

Troy Police are investigating her death.

King had been staying at Conifer Park, a drug rehab facility in Glenville, when she disappeared.

Her family filed a missing person’s report with Glenville Police, but the case went cold.

The private funeral was scheduled at the Beth Emeth Cemetery in Loudonville.

King will be buried next to her mother.
