Prosecutors: Rensselaer man used toddler to make child porn
A Rensselaer man is accused of using a toddler to create child pornography.
Mark Tremblay, 34, allegedly had the child, who was born in 2023, engage in sexually explicit conduct on Nov. 13, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. Tremblay then sent the images to another person with whom he was corresponding over the internet, according to prosecutors.
Tremblay was arraigned in U.S. District Court on a charge of sexual exploitation of a child. He was ordered to be detained. Tremblay faces at least 15 years and up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
