An investigation is underway after racist slurs and hateful images were carved in the sand at a Great Barrington beach.
The images were carved into the sand at Lake Mansfield’s swimming beach, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle report.
The hateful content included swastikas and slurs against Black people and gay people.
The investigation is ongoing, but police face challenges in catching the suspect as there are no overnight surveillance cameras at the beach.
