For the first time in more than five decades, the village of Lake George will have a new mayor.
Ray Perry, who was first elected to the board in 2007, was elected the village mayor Tuesday with 147 votes.
Perry was running unopposed to succeed Mayor Bob Blais, who is leaving his post as the longest serving active mayor in the country.
