Red Cross helping six people after pair of recent fires

The Red Cross is helping six people after two fires on Thursday evening.

Five adults were displaced after a fire on County Route 408 in Westerlo, Albany County, they said. They’re getting help with shelter, food and clothing.

The second fire happened Thursday evening on Dunnsville Road in Schenectady, they said. A victim of that fire is getting health services, blankets, comfort kits and more.
