SARATOGA, N.Y. (WNYT)- Regeneron says they have purchased the sprawling former Quad Graphics site on Duplainville Road in Saratoga.

“This acquisition underscores our commitment to growing together with the local community by investing in local economies and creating high-quality jobs in the area and across New York State,” Regeneron said.

“This investment highlights our ongoing efforts to support and grow local economies, ensuring that New York and Regeneron continue to thrive together,” they said.

“This is great news for Saratoga Springs, Saratoga County, our region, and New York State,” said Saratoga County Chamber President and CEO, Todd Shimkus. “We are excited by this investment by Regeneron as it demonstrates their ongoing efforts to support and grow our local economy.”

Once one of the largest employers in Saratoga County, Quad Graphics announced its closure at the beginning of 2024. The decision to close the plant was strategic based on industry trends, including lack of volume and an increase in postal costs, according to a memo sent by Quad Graphics to employees mid-January.
