The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York is launching a collaboration with Tech Valley Shuttle to benefit the retail store donation program.

The program helps the food bank to collect food from stores – food that would otherwise be thrown away.

Last year, 12.4 million pounds of food got rescued. That’s more than 10 million meals. This collaboration will help get up to one million additional pounds to pantries in Schenectady and Amsterdam.
